Account Manager- Auckland [New Zealand]


 
Planit Testing, a global market leader in quality engineering solutions is seeking to hire an Account Manager. This role is based in Auckland New Zealand, part of a highly collaborative senior team and supports the alignment of quality testing and solutions with our client requirements. You will be responsible for successfully selling our brand, our testing services, and our quality solutions to our existing client base. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify complex needs, recognise new developments and opportunities and continuously network. You will drive and build business opportunities that highlights the value Planit can bring to a client through creative solutions, outstanding client service and a collaborative approach. This role is supported by our internal specialist capability groups. Access to these industry leading experts underpins your ability to successfully deliver to your customers goals, laying the platform for an on-going successful relationship.

Description:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for understanding requirements and matching these to our high-quality services, whilst ensuring maximum client satisfaction. In addition, you will also need to be able to respond to RFI/RFPs, prepare proposals, deliver executive presentations, and negotiate with key stakeholders and decision makers. You will need to understand our clients' challenges and complexities and no two days will be the same. This role is supporting existing account base and servicing existing clients and growing and servicing those accounts laterally and secondary converting warm leads which is new business that has been referred.

Responsibilities:

With your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, you will effectively consult with our clients whilst successfully promoting Planit's brand and capability in providing quality software testing and solutions. You will bring a passion for client care and the ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously, gained previously in a similar client facing role. You have an understanding of IT services, service management in complex organisations and/or software testing. You will be a problem solver with strong business acumen and an ability to join the dots, skilfully collaborating and building enduring relationships with stakeholders. You will have a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn from others to develop your career in client facing roles. An overall team player is a must. Key Responsibilities: • Day to day-to-day management of accounts & supporting client relationships within the portfolio • Working with existing customers to build strong long term trusted partner relationships • Working with clients to create and implement innovative delivery solutions • Contributes to the production of proposals or tenders • Contributes in business meetings, proposal presentations • Proactively identifying commercial opportunities • Working with wider Planit group to keep up to speed with latest solutions and industry trends • Works with existing customers to provide a long-term strategic view

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• 2 + years industry experience preferably in IT • Experience managing multiple complex projects • Experience in managing client and commercial relationships • Understanding of profitability and margins • Has strong negotiation skills • Proven track record in working with multiple clients and timelines • Has a good understanding of sales theory process and business development About Us: Planit is a progressive organisation with a heavy focus on our employees and their careers.
