Main responsibilities:
- Design of Hull Stress Monitoring Systems
- Planning, coordination, contribution and follow-up of the engineering, documentation and implementation in-house
- Quality assurance of deliveries
- Communication with the customer and end-user
Qualifications:
- Technical background (electronics, electrical or structural mechanics) is a must
- Must be able to get security clearance
- Management training (e.g. befalsskole, project management, engineering management) or defense background is a benefit
- Experience in opto-electronics or fiber optics is an advantage
- Technical writing (user manuals, technical reports, training materials)
- CAD drawing proficiency (2D)
- Fluent English (spoken and written). Fluent Norwegian is preferred, but not required.
- Understanding of information security
- Good collaborative and communication skills
