- Support definition of the group Architecture and Modularization strategy for manufacturing equipment matured to a “production ready state” and secure cost competitiveness.
- Give input to modular vision within relevant Divisions and Manufacturing Domains/Segments
- Deliver mature cells, functional elements, tools, interfaces, and standards (Grundfos Design Library) within own area with competitive investment cost and short lead time - Aligned across Group AME, A&M.
- Continuously work on cells, functional elements, tools, interfaces, and standards (Grundfos Design Library) to increase flexibility and productivity of processes and interfaces within own area.
- Secure overall critical DFM issues in relevant activities
- Support definition of the Architecture & Modularization Strategy for manufacturing equipment in Grundfos across Divisions and global manufacturing plants within relevant area
- Support the implementation of our future global standards for Modularization and Standardization (Mechanical, HW and SW) for manufacturing equipment in Grundfos.
- Support life cycle management of new manufacturing platforms and architectures to be used across the divisions within relevant area - including all the needed interfaces and standards.
- Support auditing of AME Division functions for use of processes and architectures
- Support that modules are integrated in roadmaps and scoping of MOST pre-burners, DP projects, ME projects and technology projects to enable high utilization of architectures and modules.
- Prototyping of modules related to new platforms or innovations.
- Support definition and the implementation of A&M process and tools
- Support targets for standardization and design elements
- Give input on which design elements are needed (existing and new)
- Give input to definition of group equipment partnerships.
- Support mapping of relevant process flows in manufacturing.
- Ensure creation of relevant cells, functional elements, tools, and interfaces in Grundfos Design Library (Both internally and externally) within relevant area.
- Ensure commonality mindset in creation of modular architecture within Grundfos Design Library, focusing on using across Divisions and manufacturing domains/segments.
- Communicate benefits of modular architecture in running activities
- Ensure DFM is done within prioritized activities.
- Being a part of continuous improving our supporting business processes (Grundfos Design Library, various templates, explicit use etc.).
- 1-3 years of experience within modular architecture
- Documented skill within modular architecture both practical and theoretical
- Technical know-how within own area
- Travel activity is included in the job.
- B.Sc. or equivalent
