Cork City Gaol are currently looking for multiple hardworking, enthusiastic individual to take on the role of a General Tourism Operatives
The successful candidates will be part of a team showcasing the history and stories behind the heritage centre along with assisting in the day-to-day running of Cork City Gaol.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Customer Service
- Providing Guided Tours of the Gaol
- Cash Management
- Stock Management
- Housekeeping
- Working as part of a team
- Problem solving
Skills and experience:
- Excellent customer service and organisational skills
- Outstanding communication and people skills
- Fluent English speaker
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to different situations
- Effective problem solving
- Flexible approach to work
- Exceptional time management required
Flexibility is required regarding working times as Cork City Gaol is open 7 days a week and often hosts evening events. The successful candidates will be working on a roster which will include weekends and public holidays.
Part-time position available from May (minimum 10 hour contract).
